Mr. Dzidzinyo Kobby Akpeke Urges Youths at Mafi Kumase to Get Involved in Any Developmental Project

The Assistant Headteacher of Aforde D/A Primary School, Mr. D. K. Akpeke has charged youths to be actively involved in any agenda aimed at promoting development in the community in which they found themselves.

According to him, “We have come a long way as people of Mafi Kumase. Organizing programs of this nature would be much helpful to our town.

I therefore encourage every community to try as much as possible to cultivate or learn from neighboring communities who engage in some of these programs”.

The young man who is loved by many and known among his peers as “Rolex the young celebrity” mentioned this at Aburi, Mafi Kumase during their annual Easter Celebration festival towards building a community centre dubbed “VA AFE ZA” on Saturday, 20^th April 2019 under the theme “INSTILLING COMMUNAL SPIRIT TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: The Role of The Youth.”

“Program of this same nature is currently ongoing at Nukportoe, my community dubbed as “DUNENYO ZA” which we also celebrate yearly but we have tried hard to come here and support you because of the unity we must build for development in tomorrow.

Let’s take keen interest in the submission made by Mr. Stephen Amesimeku about our roles as youths towards the development of a geographical area. Most of us though look very young are ready and willing to support any developmental plan taken by any community that may call on us.” He added.

Looking forward, Mr. Dzidzinyo warns that, those who sit far and say let’s allow them to do it so that we all see whilst they are needed to add their submission mostly is not helpful. He encouraged everyone to join hands whenever they are called upon to do something that will help develop a community.

Mr. Dzidzinyo Kobby Akpeke (Rolex) is a teacher by profession and teaches at Aforde D/A Primary School where he serves as the Assistant Headteacher. Recent posts by some youths on the social media and how actively he is in matters of development shows he may consider contesting in this year’s District Assembly Election for Mafi Kumase Electoral Area.
