Ibrah One Granted Ghc 550,000 Bail As Fraud Trial Starts
Many months ago Ibrah One got into some trouble that saw him arrested and later sent him on a downward spiral on social media.
Ibrah was arrested for fraud, as we reported at the time, after a former business partner alleged Ibrah had defrauded him and reported him to the police.
Ibrah after some time came out to attempt to brush off the arrest, even claiming it never happened, but things are moving as the court case commenced and Ibrah was granted bail.
At the first trial date, the judge agreed to grant bail in the sum of Ghc 550,000 with two sureties to Ibrah.
Ibrah was charged with one count of defrauding by false pretence and two counts of altering forged documents. He pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
Ibrah is accused of defrauding his business partner Ahmed Nurudeen of Ghc 543, 380.
Ibrah is alleged to have been given the sum by Nurudeen to transfer to a bank in Germany, but instead used it for his own purposes as the transfer never went through.
The case has been adjourned to 5th December 2018.
