WE PAY BRIBE TO OPERATE AT NIGHT SO LEGALIZE IT - GALAMSEYER'S TO NANA ADDO

 Illegal mining (Galamsey) is one of the major factor destroying our water bodies in Ghana, of which the president of Ghana  Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has put  ban on it to stop the Illegal miners from operating but yet still they operate in the night.

In an exclusive interaction with some Galamsey Operators at Akyem Topreman, Akyem Apinamang, Akyem Dwinase which falls under Denkyembor District in the Eastern Region, they said the people who comes around to arrest and stop them from operating (Military Men) takes  money from them and allows them to operate.

They stretched that, whenever the military men comes around and the leaders of the galamseyers are not around, they beat them up because they don't get  said amount of Ghc3000, meaning when they come every night for three days they get a whole lot of money which doesn't go into the funds of Ghana but rather their pocket.

They are therefore telling the president of Ghana and his government to release the ban earlier to enable them to work and gain for they are building castle in the air.
