CHILDREN ABANDON SCHOOL FOR OKADA BUSSINES - MR. ERNEST GAKPEY

The children of school going age in the three tongue district in the Volta region,are now into Okada business.

The rise in children joining the business is very alarming because these children abandon school for this business.

One may ask what really is the cause of children of school going age going into Okada business when Mr Gakpey Ernest to explain the reasons why some children leave school for the Okada business, he said though the reason is not clear, he blamed the act of some parents inability to cater for their wards.

Some of the parents are only interested in giving birth to many children's but are not interested in taking care of them both in school and at home.

Some of the children were also money conscious and cannot do without money,peer pressure also lured children into business like Okada which is very dangerous to the health of children their school and also their future.

Ernest Gakpey challenge parents to go by rule's and regulations governing parents in the country.

Is your duty as a parents to see to the needs of your children especially children under 18 year's.

I wants to advice all parents who go by saying you are grown to be on your own, is a bad advise from them to the children because in Africa, we are not other developed countries whose ward complete university below 18 years, let's us not say they are working so that's why we should leave their lives for them.
