Nurse has Ebola in Dallas
A nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital where Thomas Eric Duncan died last week of Ebola has contracted the disease.The female nurse is said to have attended to Duncan during his return visit to the hospital.
The CDC will make a statement about the development Sunday to officially confirm the results of the tests conducted on the nurse.
Health officials have cleaned the nurse’s car and apartment.
People who made direct contact with her are expected to be placed in isolation in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.
The case would make the nurse the second person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the US since Thomas Eric Duncan.
